Giuseppe Arcimboldo gathered various objects, animals, fruits and vegetables in her painting, creating aa pretty faces Renaissance. Many of us know the pictures, but do not know who the author is. Plus, do not think that whoever painted these pictures have already been living for nearly 500 years, which seem so modern. During his lifetime Arcimboldo was an artist of relief: he knew that the frescoes of the cathedral of Monza in Milan, are partly of his own? He also worked for several kings Ferdinand I in Vienna, Maximilian II and Rudolf II in Prague and Augustus of Saxony were some of their customers. Besides being a painter, decorator and designer was also cuts to the most prestigious of Europe. Despite the amount of work that made more traditional, the frames that survived the passing of history and what we know today are those where the busts of the nobles are "assembled" with vegetables, fruits, roots, animals and everyday objects. Because of these strange paintings for the time, there are even art critics who think that Arcimboldo was mentally disturbed or crazy. His work would influence later in the twentieth century, the surrealist painters, being rediscovered by Salvador Dalí. Even in Venice in 1987 was organized an exhibition of surrealist painters called "The Arcimboldo Effect." Octavio Campo, Shigeo Fukuda and Sandro del Prete are other surrealist artist who admitted to being influenced by this Italian Renaissance.
