Chandi padvo - a festival celebrated only In Surat and surroundings places
It is saying , ' Kashi ka maran and Surat ka jamaan ' means death in kashi and Food of Surat has imporatance.

The day after sharad Punam or day after kojagiri punam people of surat celebrate ' Chandi padvo .' people eat
ghari ( a sweet which is available only in Surat ) It is full of ghee and dry fruits and you get varieties in it One can get pistachio ,almond-elachi, mawa and cost is also high . Peole gigt to their relatives and emplyees gift them to their staff
