And what is being honest? Not being false; being truthful; being frank and sincere. And honesty is one of the ingredients of a good human being. Though it is true that no one as a matter of fact can be hundred percent honest through their lifetime. There are times when harmless white lies need to be spoken to protect oneself and others. But,...harmful dishonesty could cause a lot of trouble. The habit of lying begins with such small incidents and progresses into the more serious lies spoken. Integrity is telling myself the truth, honesty is telling the truth to other people. To be persuasive,we must be believable, to be believable we must be credible; we must be truthful. One of the hardest things in this world is to admit you are wrong.And nothing is more helpful in resolving a situation than its frank admission. The real honest man is honest from conviction of what is right,not from the policy that honesty is the best policy "Say what you mean, mean what you say and fear nothing" "Stand up for what is right even if you stand alone"
