Dear Ms Indrani,

 

Thanks much for the poem especially when the poet is no more and was passed away in her 19 !!

 

It is really sad to know she is no more and can we know when was she wrote this poem ? I mean which year? What was happened to her actually ?

 

Don't worry she must be happy there being with the eternal father of heaven!

The peom is written by my younger SISTER who passed away in 2001.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND HAPPINESS

In search of happiness I went out from home,

In search of happiness, here and there I roam,

Wherever I go, I find happiness not there

In the expectation, I again search,

If not here, then there for sure.

 

Standing at the edge of home, I dreamt of a world new.

When, I could see all my dreams coming true.

For that days dream, today I am here

That dream, now has become a nightmare.

 

'All that glitters is not gold'

This is a saying, quiet old.

That day, the world glittered in front of me,

And now, when I'm here, I curse my destiny.

No one can be blamed for this condition worse

Neither the moon, the sun, nor the stars.

This is the true fact of nature,

Happiness, seems to pass away

From one pocket to another.

 

Today, I went there to borrow

From my miseries, I had an escape narrow.

But, to my surprise…

My happiness was scarce and

For them, there were only sorrows.

 

At this moment, I got courage to face.

It's possible; you may not find happiness always.

It's all matter of a second to be happy,

When you are sad,

Least thing to be done,

To be happy is to remember your happy days.
