Its Aamir Khan's 46th birthday and we take this occasion to take a look at his various avatars. Following are his different looks for various films over the years.
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar
Aamir was the ultimate pin-up boy for every girl. This film sees Aamir in his chocolate-boy looks that he retained for other films like 'Dil', Baazi, etc.
Rangeela
This film was the turning pint for Aamir as his acting was highly appreciated. For this film, Aamir's get-up was that on the lines of a roadside Romeo and Aamir's look, which contained, matching pants and jackets, the vest, cap and mannerisms were followed by similar people.
Lagaan
In this Oscar nominated film, Aamir played a typical villager of the pre-independence era. He completed the look with dhotis, waist coats, earrings and a turban.
Dil Chahta Hai
Aamir's goatee that he sported in 'Dil Chahta Hai' was perhaps his most trend-setting look. The urban youth connected with his spiky hairstyle and goatee and the look became a fashion statement on his part.
The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey
In this movie, Aamir played the role of the legendary Mangal Pandey. For his part, Aamir sported wild locks with a ferocious moustache. He was praised by all for going the extra mile for a role.
Fanaa
In this film, Aamir plays an impish guide in the first half and a terrorist in the second. For the earlier part, Aamir grew his hair slightly long and wore colorful shirts along with his trademark stoles.
Ghajini
Aamir Khan blew everyone away with his avatar for 'Ghajini'. He acquired eight-pack abs giving the other actors a run for their money. His semi-bald look with a cut mark again became a trend-setting feature.
Dhobi Ghat
In his wife's directorial debut, Aamir sported grey hair for the first time. He played the part of an aging lonely painter and his look in the film was extremely simple and understated.
Aamir is once again changing his look for his upcoming flick to be directed by Reema Kagti. Aamir plays a cop in the film and can be seen a rough look which includes him sporting a beard with a moustache.
