Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar

Aamir was the ultimate pin-up boy for every girl. This film sees Aamir in his chocolate-boy looks that he retained for other films like 'Dil', Baazi, etc.

This film was the turning pint for Aamir as his acting was highly appreciated. For this film, Aamir's get-up was that on the lines of a roadside Romeo and Aamir's look, which contained, matching pants and jackets, the vest, cap and mannerisms were followed by similar people.

In this Oscar nominated film, Aamir played a typical villager of the pre-independence era. He completed the look with dhotis, waist coats, earrings and a turban.

Aamir's goatee that he sported in 'Dil Chahta Hai' was perhaps his most trend-setting look. The urban youth connected with his spiky hairstyle and goatee and the look became a fashion statement on his part.

In this movie, Aamir played the role of the legendary Mangal Pandey. For his part, Aamir sported wild locks with a ferocious moustache. He was praised by all for going the extra mile for a role.
