Biblical records
According to the Bible Jesus was arrested by the temple guards because of the help of his own disciple. Judas Iscarot, a disciple of Jesus Christ himself cheated him for just some pieces of silver coins. Jesus was brought to the house of the Annas where he was interrogated and sent to the high priest. Various conflicting testimonies were put forward by various witness against which Jesus did not reply a word. Under charges of subverting the nation Jesus was brought in front of Roman Governor of that time, Pointillist Pilate. It was a custom for the Passover to release a prisoner on the request of the crowd. When Pilate asked the crud what to do with Jesus, the crowd demanded crucifixion. So Jesus was made to carry his cross to the site of his execution or the place of Skull, and was crucified with two other criminals.
