It has been India's best performance in the Commonwealth Games in terms of Gold tally. They have 38 Golds out of their 101 medals. They have surpassed their past record of 30 Gold medals at Manchester in 2002. Here are the Gold-winners of the 2010 Games.

Shooters Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang won India its first gold medal. The Indian pair shot gold in the Pairs 10 m Air Rifle Mens event with a Commonwealth Games' record 1,193 points at the Karni Singh ranges, 19 clear of England pair James Huckle and Kenny Parr. Bangladesh's Abdullah Hel Baki and Mohammad Asif Hossain Khan took bronze.

 Shooters Rahi Sarnobat and Anisa Sayyed added another gold to India's medal tally in the Commonwealth Games by winning in the pairs 25m pistol event for women.

 Ravinder Singh bagged the first yellow metal in wrestling in the 60kg category, beating England's Christopher Terence Bosson 7-2 at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Sanjay followed Ravinder's footsteps and got the better of South Africa's Brian Richard Addinall 2-0 in the 74kg category. He won the second Gold for India.

Anil Kumar made it three out of three for host country when he defeated Hassene Fkiri of Australia 6-0 in the summit clash of the 96kg.

Anisa Sayyed won another Gold in the individual 25m pistol event. Rahi Sarnobat won Silver in the same event. Anisa scored 786.8 while Rani scored 781.

India's Renu Bala retained her Commonwealth Games 58kg women's weightlifting title with a commanding performance. Bala set a new Commonwealth record by lifting 90kg in the snatch before piling on the pressure with a clean and jerk of 107 for a 197kg total.

India's Ravi Kumar Katulu, who only took up weightlifting three years ago, rewrote the record books when he cruised to victory in the 69kg class. Kumar Katulu won with a record total of 321kg after having set new marks of 146kg in the snatch and 175kg in the clean and jerk.

Shooters Gurpreet Singh clinched second gold medal with Vijay Kumar in the 25m rapid fire pistol pairs event. Kumar and Gurpreet together fired 1162 to bag the top prize, ahead of Malaysia's Amir Hasan Hasli Izwan and Adzha Hafiz (1142) and Australian bronze medal winning duo of Bruce Quick and David Chapman (1125) at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.

Grappler Geeta trounced her rival Emily Bensted of Australia in the 55 kg category final. She entered the gold medal round by defeating Lovina Odohi Edward of Nigeria, but her teammate - 63kg grappler Suman Kundu - lost in the semi-finals.

Indian women's recurve team showed nerves of steel to win the gold. The trio of Dola Banerjee, Bombayala Devi Laishram and Deepika Kumari fought back brilliantly to cut a four-point lead and rally past their English opponents in the final round to clinch the gold medal.
