Hello I sympathise your mom's condition, I have had similar skin problem too and had to go for surgical removal. It all happened on my face, I have numerous scars on my face. It usually occurs for people who are on the plump/fat/obese side and going through high stress.
For my last one I did not go for operation and my own clean up. It must be cleaned several times and with slight hot water mixed with salt and antiseptic solution

The fluid discharge they called it sinus, anyway the actual thing that grows is granulation tissue.
I was prescribed an antibiotic by the name of Augmentine for 2 weeks and it subsided, of course some food has to be avoided - sugary & carbohydrates, try taking lemon juice without sugar. I also prayed alot and asked Mother Mary and Divine Mercy intervention eventually it subsided and the fluid reduced in quantity and the wound dried up to a small scar.
It may also be an indication of pre-diabetic or diabetic stage.
Try it. Good luck and I'll say a prayer she will recover soon.
